MICROFIBER WIPERS
Chemical Free Cleaning
Recently introduced into the North American marketplace, microfiber
wipers are causing a revolution in the cleaning industry. First
invented in Japan 30 years ago for the sports apparel market, a
microfiber is less than 0.1 denier. One denier is the density of a
thread having a mass of 1 gram per 9 kilometers of length. Canmill
Microfiber Wipers are made of a mixture of 30% polyamide, a byproduct
of nylon, and 70% polyester . The polyamide fibers offer maximum
absorbency while the polyester fibers provide an aggressive scrubbing
surface.
Produced by the splitting, washing and drying of the fibers,
microfibers have thousands of small branches that split off from the
main trunk of the fiber. The dirt is caught and held in the crevices
between the branches without the use of expensive or hazardous
cleaning chemicals until the cloth is washed. Both grades of Canmill
Microfiber Wipers are strong yet resilient and can be washed
repeatedly with no deterioration in their performance. The cloths are
non-abrasive and lint free and have an exceptional ability to absorb
water and oil. Use them dry, as a superior dusting cloth or wet, as a
powerful cleaning cloth.
Canmill microfiber cloths are available in two styles, both of which
are 40 cm x 40 cm hemmed, blue wipers and are constructed of 70%
polyester and 30% polyamide.
Prowipe (WIPSIM) has a moderate nap and is ideal for aggressive
cleaning situations such as industry or heavy institutional use.
Cleanwipe (WIPNEXB) has a low nap and is effective in moderate
cleaning situations such as offices, washrooms and general cleaning.
